INTRAVENOUS

i’ve been drawing the letter ‘B’ all this time, in so many shapes and colors. working on a new drawing series called intravenous where i explore the relationship of tubes and cylindrical like creatures going inside + through other shapes. the way we simultaneously grow when there is someone or something else growing inside of us. little bodies or homes being slightly invaded for the sake of another (my own), for the sake of safety or health, for the sake of whatever. these last four months have been that kind of experience for me and i’ve experienced it all in such a humbling way, in so much color, thanks to bliss. my hero and reason for everything.
